How Sherif Zaki’s salon is protecting our clients and staff during these uncertain times.

Maintain all current rules and regulations pertaining to licensure as a licensed cosmetologist, barber, esthetician, nail technician and massage therapist.

Following all CDC guidelines

  • Sanitizing hands upon entering the location.
  • Temperature checks will be issued upon entering the location.
  • Wearing a cloth face covering, masks, or face shields while in the building at all times.
  • Allowing enough time between appointments to thoroughly sanitize/disinfect area/workstation.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting shears, brushes, and any other tools with
    BarBicide (a strong disinfectant solution for all surfaces)
  • Cleaning and disinfecting every station, chair, mirror, tools and any products used and touched after each use to ensure everyone’s health and safety
  • Using a clean new cape for each client.
  • Anyone who is sick or experiencing symptoms cannot enter the building until they have been cleared by a doctor.
  • Any ill employees are staying home.
  • Asking each client 2/ days prior to appointment, the following questions:
    1. Have you had a cough? Have you had a fever?
    2. Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?
    3. Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?
  • Maintain social distancing at all times!
  • Spacing stylists in the salon six feet apart, except when staff are servicing clients.
  • Limiting the number of clients in our reception area, we will use our balcony space for additional seating.
  • Only the client being serviced will be allowed in the facility.
  • We advise all our clients to leave all belongings that cannot be carried “on their person” at home or in the car. (coats, vests, hats, gloves, bags, large purses etc.)
  • Clients must wear cloth face covering when entering the premises
  • Shampoo bowls divided from ceiling to Floor with clear plastic.
  • Nail Tables and Front desk separated with PlexiGLASS dividers with a pass through for hands.

Clients temperature will be checked upon entering the location. A temp over 99.5 will be cause for re-scheduling your appointment!

COVID CARE SURCHARGE AND COLOR PRICE ADJUSTMENT

We thank you for your VALUED support in implementing these adjustments during these uncertain times:

  • A Covid care surcharge of $5 dollars will be added to each of our clients first return visit, and all new guests.
  • This charge will adjust forward to a $2 reoccurring per visit not per service. This nominal fee will help supplement the additional PPE Equipment and EPA requirements according to the Covid CDC protective guidelines.

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

Please be courteous to your stylist’s time and the next arriving guest.

We ask that you arrive promptly, 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, for the new check-in procedures.

Delayed arrival may result in the cancellation of all or part of your appointment and will be subject to full payment.

We require 24 hours for any cancellations to avoid charges and to also give us time to fill the appointment time.
